Greener Spaces
Committed to a greener, decarbonised campus by 2030.
We integrate carbon intelligent decision making into the design and operation of the whole campus – from low carbon buildings to nature friendly landscaping.

We start with how we design and construct our new buildings, and how we refit and repurpose our existing ones.
Then we use smart tech to make our buildings as efficient as possible, and make sure no waste goes to landfill.
And it’s an ongoing journey. We’re always looking for new ways to progress further – and we seek to work in partnership with our customers, suppliers and partners to help them do the same.
Improving the efficiency of your space
We’ve developed smart building technology which can help you optimise any operating systems within your space, providing insights on energy use and where this can be saved by making simple interventions, for a more sustainable workspace.
We’re constantly looking for additional ways to make our buildings more sustainable – reusing, recycling and repurposing materials, and introducing the smart tech wherever we can.
We work hard to make sure our campus runs smoothly and sustainably.
Sustainable waste management
Imagine a world where everything can be used and reused. Where we value everything and waste nothing. That’s the thinking behind circular economy – and that’s why we think about waste as a new resource. We have a strong track record of responsible waste management on campus, diverting 100% of Regent’s Place waste from landfill. We help our customers identify responsible reuse opportunities for their office furniture and equipment and provide advice on sustainable material choices for fitout projects.
Powered by renewable energy
In addition to seeking to make our buildings as efficient as possible, we put a lot of focus on where the energy which we do use comes from. 98% of the energy we buy for Regent’s Place is certified from renewable sources for both electricity and gas.
Rest and recharge
Our recently refreshed public spaces have significantly changed the landscape of Regent’s Place into a greener and more tranquil space.
With natural materials, abundant planting, sculptural seating, wooden pavilions, secluded spots and sun-traps – and one of London’s largest living walls with over 22,000 plants – it’s been warmly embraced by workers and visitors alike.
As well as boosting biodiversity, our newly landscaped walkways make the whole campus more accessible and connected, inviting you to explore or simply rest and recharge.
Greener Spaces at Regent's Place
Our environmental sustainability achievements
We integrate sustainability into the design and operation of the whole campus – from low carbon buildings to nature friendly landscaping.
Energy efficiency
All buildings have a decarbonisation pathway, identifying when and where we can improve energy efficiency in both customer spaces and communal areas. Our efficiency programme has decreased energy intensity by 20% – helping Regent’s Place businesses towards their climate goals and cutting their energy bills.
Low emissions
Our decarbonisation pathways identify how we can reduce and remove reliance on fossil fuels, and we have extensive experience in retrofitting low carbon technologies. 350 Euston Road was one of the first multi-let buildings in the UK to install an air source heat pump in 2014. There’s been a 60% reduction in operational carbon intensity across the campus since 2015 – lightening our customers’ carbon footprints.
Water saving
Our buildings are designed for water efficiency – from the fixtures and fittings we specify to collecting and reusing rainwater. At 10 Brock Street, we collect over 4 million litres of rainwater for reuse annually – saving enough mains water to fill an Olympic-sized swimming pool.
Outstanding sustainable space
1.1 million sq ft of BREEAM Outstanding and Excellent space built at Regent’s Place – that’s the same size as 14 football pitches.
